From the moment you walked in the door the whole evening felt like an escape. The bright colors and beautifully decorated tables with gorgeous linens and flower bouquets were very special. We were greeted with a glass of cava sparkling wine and wonderful appetizers. As the night evolved we enjoyed beautiful wines and some history behind them and delicious dishes from different regions of Spain that paired beautifully with the wines. It was a wonderful night of sharing culture, food, music, wine and company with wonderful ladies.

Shelley’s wine experience swept me off my feet! My heart sank when I discovered that the theme for the evening was Spanish and the wine was Spanish! My dislike for Spanish wine has dated back for years…. But my absolute trust in Shelley’s sommelier ability and gastronomic sensibilities solidified my place at the table! What a surprise! Not only did I adore the expertly prepared multi course meal- the pairings were superb! I walked in a hater and walked out a lover of Spanish Cuisine and Varietals!! Bravo Shelley! I’m converted! Her passion and knowledge of wine and different regions of where the grapes came from was fascinating and she is so well-versed and knowledgeable on the subject.
